Spring Has Sprung!
I love the tulips and daffodils! All of those pretty blooms means that we are getting closer to Bead Madness with Cynthia Rutledge! She'll be here at Zeldas for three days teaching gorgeous projects. This is a real treat for us!
Don't forget the line-up we have for the coming months as well!
April 20-22 - Cynthia Rutledge, World Class Seed Beading
May 18-20 - Jodi Bombardier, Wire Wrapping Expert
July 13-15 - Janet Pitcher, Polymer Clay Extraordinaire
August 10-12 - Anne Mitchell, Metalsmithing Guru
September 7-9 - Gail Crosman Moore, Premier Felting and Embellishment
Please mark your calendars for these extrordinary instructors. They are travelling from all over the country to join us at Zelda's, so let's show them a fun Pittsburgh weekend. We have smart talented artists (you!), a great venue (Zelda's!) and a fabulous city (all of the 'burgh!) to show off!
Cynthia will be holding a Trunk Show while she's here. Please stop in!
My time spent at the John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, NC was fabulous. I learned enameling and I am now hooked! Anyone have a kiln out their that they want to unload?
The Pittsburgh Botanic Gardens will be having a fundraising event on Mother's Day weekend. Zelda's will be participating with a booth to sell jewelry and kits. I want to encourage and invite all of our friends, teachers, and customers to participate by bringing in your jewelry to sell. More details will be coming out soon and I'll send out an email to everyone. Start gathering everything you want to part with!
I am missing my granddaughter, Althea, so I am off tomorrow for a few days spent with a four-year-old! Yippee!!!
Happy Spring!
